\n\nTravel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
\n\nOpportunity:
\nRadiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
\n• Full-time position providing radiation therapy to patients as prescribed
\n• Two to five years of clinical experience preferred
\n• IMRT experience and LDR/HDR experience preferred
\n• Work with radiation and chemotherapy patients
\n• Training provided if needed for radiation therapy
\n• Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
\n• Current American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) card required
\n• New Mexico licensure required upon hire
\n• Must be graduate of Committee on Allied Health Education and accredited radiology program or equivalent
\n• Comply with all policies and procedures including dress code requirements
\n• Review prescriptions and diagnoses
\n• Act as liaison between providers and support staff
\n• Prepare equipment including immobilization devices, treatment, and protection devices
\n• Maintain records, reports, and files
\n• May assist in localization of tumor and dosimetry procedures
\n• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide services based on physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety criteria
