HVAC R Service Technician – Residential and/or Commercial

Cedar Park Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Residential HVAC R Service Technician to join our team immediately. If you have a solid technical background, hands-on expertise with HVAC systems, and a focus on safety and efficiency, we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do
Perform routine service, diagnostics, and repairs on residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, rooftop units, chillers, boilers, refrigeration and hot water tanks
Install and maintain HVAC equipment with precision, including copper pipe sweating and system calibration
Troubleshoot and service temperature controls, air compressors, backup generators, and high-pressure hot water systems
Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain accurate service records
Ensure all systems meet safety, health, and compliance standards
Work varied schedules that may include nights and weekends
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of HVAC experience (residential or mixed-use preferred)
Skilled in installing and servicing HVAC systems and refrigeration units
Ability to diagnose and repair rooftop units and humidity/temperature control systems
Knowledge of preventative maintenance protocols
Must have own tools (e.g., electric testers, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.)
OSHA 10 certification required
EPA certification preferred
Physical Requirements
Able to lift heavy equipment
Comfortable working in confined spaces, rooftops, and fluctuating temperatures
