Job Description
 Kronos/UKG System Administrator - Direct Hire 
(Onsite with 1 day WFH)
This role requires a technically strong HR systems professional with deep Kronos/UKG expertise who can support both system administration and HR compliance. The company is preparing for a large-scale system conversion and works with over 40 unions, so experience in handling complex workforce configurations is highly preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
Configure and maintain Kronos Workforce (timekeeping, scheduling, absence management).
Manage system access, roles, and data integrity.
Oversee upgrades, patches, and performance optimization.
Provide support to HR, payroll, and operations teams for Kronos-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve both technical and functional system issues.
Partner with IT and vendors for escalated issues.
Analyze workforce management processes and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and implement new system requirements.
Build and maintain reports and dashboards for HR and operations.
Train plant managers and staff on Kronos functionality.
Maintain process documentation, user guides, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with SOX, labor laws, and company policies.
Conduct audits of time and attendance records.
Lead or assist in Kronos projects, including integrations with ERP and payroll.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of overall experience, including 2+ years in HCM system administration.
Hands-on Kronos Workforce/UKG experience required; exposure to ADP, Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar systems preferred.
Background in timekeeping, scheduling, and/or payroll systems.
Knowledge of HR/payroll processes, labor law, and compliance.
401K experience a plus.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Must pass background and drug testing.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of SOX and labor compliance regulations.
Experience working with union labor laws and payments.
Exposure to industries with complex scheduling needs.
Ability to learn new processes and business functions quickly.
