As a Direct Support Professional in Pathways, our adult day program, you’ll provide compassionate, one-on-one support to adults with disabilities. You’ll help participants learn new skills, connect with others, and reach their personal goals—all in a supportive, engaging environment.
Lead fun and meaningful activities that promote independence and skill-building
Support individuals in achieving personal goals, both in group settings and one-on-one
Ensure safety and well-being of all participants
Maintain accurate daily documentation of services provided
Drive a 12-15 passenger van, as needed, for outings and transportation to and from the day program
Experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (preferred)
A warm, patient, and reliable personality
High school diploma or GED
Valid NC driver’s license
Ability to pass a drug screening and NC background check
Able to lift 10–25 lbs as needed
Comfortable sitting, standing, or moving for extended periods of time
