Join the CHOPT Team as an Assistant General Manager!

Your Role: As an Assistant General Manager (AGM), you'll be preparing for a future as a General Manager, partnering closely with the GM to ensure the operations run smoothly.

Daily Operations:

• Set clear expectations for the team, plan for contingencies, and maintain the highest food standards.
• Monitor customer feedback and promptly address any concerns to ensure an excellent dining experience.
• Manage inventory levels, place accurate orders, and handle payroll effectively.
• Create a labor-efficient schedule and communicate it to the team in a timely manner.

Team Management:

• Model our core values and leadership behaviors.
• Conduct comprehensive new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
• Oversee training and development, ensuring new team members meet expectations.
• Drive staffing efforts and make informed hiring decisions to build an outstanding team.
• Provide consistent coaching and adhere to progressive discipline protocols.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• A minimum of 4 years of progressive restaurant management experience.
• An impeccable work ethic and integrity.
• The ability to stay focused and composed under pressure.
• The capacity to adjust behaviors based on circumstances.
• A track record of effectively managing diverse teams.
• A food safety mindset with ServSafe certification and any required city/state food safety certifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with technology and restaurant software, including POS systems.
• Manual dexterity for operating kitchen tools and utensils.
• Physical capability to occasionally move items up to 25 pounds.
